From the trust's website: "More than 11,000 patients a year are treated by the team which includes five consultants and 4 specialty doctors. Emphasis is on the less invasive forms of surgery such as endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic pharyngeal pouch stapling and laser treatment for lesions of the tongue or larynx."
Redhill is situated between the M25 and the M23, close to Gatwick Airport. Redhill itself, is a commuter town and is undergoing a lot of regeneration and development, as is all the area around Crawley and Gatwick Airport.

The hospital runs peripheral clinics at Crawley and Horsham hospitals.
Head and Neck Oncology diagnostics and surgery are undertaken at East Surrey Hospital, with the MDT held jointly with the St Luke's team at Guildford.

There is one trainee registrar post at East Surrey and the timetable is flexible based on t needs of the department and the trainee.
